Actually that does matter.
Presumably that means that 6% of Trump voters in battleground states DO NOT want him to continue as president.
That’s more than enough in many states to tip the scale to the other side, to say nothing of new voters and olds dying off.
Now if only I believed the elections would be fair…
Jaded as I am I still winced.
I mean… that’s literally on the table. Shit is going to get real over the next 10 years with the nasty one-two punch of massively increasing numbers of climate refugees and rampant automation knocking out a sizable % of the remaining total jobs.
Combine that with the fact that our foreign policy is already imploding under God Emperor Orange and we probably are looking at the fall of the empire.
I’m basically fine with it though. We deserve all of this. If we nominate some crappy centrist for 2020 we deserve four more years of Trump too. Sometimes people just need to experience consequences to learn a lesson. The lesson we need to learn is that this ship isn’t unsinkable I guess.
