Just want to go on record that I think Trump’s telling the truth about the presidency costing him money. His golf resorts are toxic, rents and sales are down, people are taking his name off buildings, he can’t sign any new deals for like Trump anal leakage pads, can’t launder as much Russian money, etc. He’s grifting as much as he can to keep his head above water, but it ain’t easy.

Apparently, what Trump is doing now isn’t bad enough to change minds, so only an incredible disaster that makes things an order of magnitude worse might turn some people against him, and even that might not be enough. What would make Republicans in the Senate turn against this Orange Caligula? If you believe some accounts, one motive of the man who brought Caligula down was someone who was repeatedly berated and called names by Caligula. Does that remind us of someone we know?
