He’d probably be in prison. He drew waaaay too much attention winning a GOP primary. No chance his wildly illegal actions stayed under the radar after that.
He’s so innocent. Like a little child. It’s kinda beautiful in a sense, but really sad in another.
But then he has no shot at being president.

- Have Trump Hotel buy a shit load of Big Macs and Quarter Pounders.

Prez has to pay for their own food, so I think this would be a hilarious outcome in some ways.
Don’t underestimate how many of them are just totally oblivious to what’s going on. I play poker with a guy who is kind of the loveable loser version of a deplorable. Like he’s almost too dumb/ignorant to hold it against him.
A couple weeks ago he asked another reg if the Dems could actually impeach him, but he had no clue whatsoever about any of the events leading to impeachment. His knowledge is headline deep, and only the biggest headlines and only one or two a week. He probably gets 99% of his news from overhearing conversations in bars/casinos and glancing at the front page of the newspaper by the checkout counter in convenience stores.
He’ll likely vote for Trump again, based entirely on the perception that Trump is a tough guy, a brilliant businessman, and a true patriot. I doubt he has the slightest clue about kids in cages, or any of the other horrors - I bet when he overhears that stuff it sounds conspiracy theory level outlandish. Like, who would actually DO that? Can’t be true!
The scary thing is that people like that badly outnumber people like us who pay attention to everything.
