The Presidency of Donald J. Trump v5.0: ORANGE Gettin' PEACHed, Nation Goes PEANUT BUTTER & BANANAS

Yeah 90% of the impact of Apple news comes from pushed headline notifications. A massive number of people take in their news from those pushed headlines alone.

Then someone should really get on Apple News to curate better. They have had a very bad rep for a very long time.

Fox had graphical overlays calling Bill Taylor a never trumper during his opening statement and they cut to commercial (pip w/ the audio on the commercial) when Taylor concluded his opening statement and it went to Schiff for questions.

All this stuff adds up to keep the squishy part of the Trump/GOP base from leaving the tent…

I saw some of those overlays that I think maybe you or someone else posted yesterday. It’s surprising they cut to commercials, but I watched on C-SPAN3 specifically because I wanted to avoid spin/commentary.

Seems like a really vague appeal.

Plus I am not familiar with the part of the constitution where the President’s tax returns are protected. Probably be hard to provide precedent when the last however many presidents shared them publically.

Lol if you think Tapper/CNN is presenting a realistic picture of what’s happening. CNN is literally nothing but both sides stuff at all times.

I don’t watch CNN, and have no comment about the coverage. I was just reporting who had the highest ratings out of their post hearing coverage. His was the show immediately after.

Not to mention the fact that the other networks spend a lot of their time “debunking” the bullshit that the GOP spews, which serves to increase that bullshit’s exposure and continues to give the impression that there are two sides to this stuff.

I can’t speak to the coverage (I watched in a cover free zone), but I do know that MSNBC spent almost zero of their post coverage time talking about the GOP narratives. They did use it a little to make fun of some of the questioning when it got reactions from witnesses.

As for the witnesses, I think they both did pretty well overall, but they aren’t the exciting witnesses in this (compelling, but not exciting). I think some of Taylor’s affects might have worked against him, but that’s me thinking more from an editorial standpoint than anything else. The really good stuff will be next week, and I think Yovanovitch is going to spit a lot of hot fire tomorrow.

Manafort and Stone are getting pardoned the day after the 2020 elections, regardless of who wins. Cohen… is not.

Not saying this won’t happen, but Trump wouldn’t gain anything from it.

Seriously doubt that. Trump has NPD. Unless they justify his basic needs, Trump won’t do shit.

Trump is like a dog that gravitates toward whomever is feeding it but completely indifferent otherwise.

Man, reading back over today’s thread and watching you guys somehow manage to hit a worse tired argument derail than Star Trek was actually pretty funny

The real questions are how many iPhone owners own 5 iPhones, and how many are the ones that are donated/paid for by movie/TV production companies/product placement?
