Didn’t we just do the definition of claim?
It’s a political process dude. I’m saying it cause it’s true. They’re claiming whatever bullshit fits their narrative.
Agreed. Whether that matters is a political question that is very much unsettled right now.
Lying, obfuscating and claiming Schiff lied about the transcript is one way to spin it. Mix in some whataboutism too (Whatabout the crooked Bidens??? And Hillary should be in jail!!!)
No and no. But I’m not depending on those conditions to be right (and of course I hope to be wrong).
Her approval rate as senator was 58 percent and her approval rate as SOS was 65 percent: https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/may/22/hillary-clinton/hillary-clintons-approval-rating-secretary-state-w/
It wasn’t until she was going to be running for president that the character assassination went in full force. She was known to get along well with her senate colleagues and was well-liked by republicans during that time period.
What’s your opinion on the level of character assassination that she faced before she was in the Senate?
For comparison HRC was polling at 65 when Obama was polling at 49.
It ebbed and flowed. When her husband was president she faced a lot because it was a way to attack her husband. When she was just a senator and SOS she didn’t really. When she decided to run for president the second time it resumed with a vengeance.
Their bullshit only works because the media repeats whatever nonsense they roll with, instantly giving it credibility.
“Republicans question John Kerry’s service record.” Boom, game over, we lose.
“Something Hillary’s emails.”
“Republicans question Clinton’s role in Benghazi tragedy.”
And on and on and on. There’s no solution. They’re not ever going to change.
and he supports our great second amendment and vets!
Shredding the constitution doesn’t usually get Presidents impeached, let alone removed.
I remember bumper stickers saying “Impeach Clinton and her husband,” back in the 90’s.
And it worked because they had been undermining her regularly for 25 years already. Am I the only one who remembers what a lightning rod for right wing derp she was in bill’s first term?
Republicans, exclusively, have understood for my whole life that national politics is pure theater. They play the long game, they have no shame, they stick to a few effective issues (racism, taxes), they stay on message, they are laser focused on outcomes, they give not one single shit about decorum.
The ballgame in politics is the accumulation and use of power. Which fundamentally requires defeating your opponents. This is simple but somehow not understood by the Democratic Party. LBJ was a piece of shit but he understood this, and we got the CRA and Medicare. For my entire fucking life, Democrats have been trying to respond in good faith to GOP trolling. Disgraceful.
I agree here wholeheartedly
But whether its the UK or the USA or for that matter anyone else I’m not for an intervention.
Unfortunately we cannot trust our news sources when it comes to these situations imo and I’m always wary of any UK/USA media coverage always when it comes to helping out a resourceful country.
@microbet Could explain better why interventions in our mind is not good, if anything we should be dropping hard cash on the poors and let them built an economy on their own dime.
After Spicer was eliminated, did Donald delete his tweet urging people to vote for him??
omg he deleted this. what a fucking maniac
sean spicer was down 30 points before that tweet and he ended up losing by less than 1 point
