I always forget Florida has legitimate entertainment attractions. I believe California has similar-themed parks for Harry Potter and the like, no? Though I seem to recall California versions are smaller for some reason.
This will always and forever be my mental foundation for Florida.
I think it’s the opposite, he thought he was fucked and a pardon wasn’t going to bail him out but it’s become clear Trump still has his back so he’d rather get that pardon than face any actual consequences. If you search for tweets with “Flynn” in them here they’re all very very pro-Flynn.
I’ve never understood why perjury is such a big crime. You can steal billions and destroy the economy. But as long as you are a banker, that’s OK. Meanwhile, lying about a blowjob leads to impeachment. And if the GOP could have, they would have thrown Clinton in jail for that.
Is there anything else that becomes a crime if you do it under oath?
Trump lies 50x a day but it’s all OK because he’s not under oath. What kind of bullshit is that?
Trump has NPD. There is a zero chance he’s even thought of guys like Flynn unless it’s to his benefit. He probably doesn’t even remember Paul Manafort at this point.
I see your point but was more speculating about Flynn’s thought process. I think the effect is still present with Trump, it’s just that the NPD makes him incapable of articulating this as a deliberate strategy.
Talk to any assistant state attorney/prosecutor about the type of bullshit things regular poor people get locked up for every day and you will be ready to burn all these people at the stake.
Here’s the resolution on impeachment proceedings. The main features seem to be setting rules for open hearings, and allowing the ranking minority (Republican) members to propose additional witnesses and subpoenas to the chairs (Dems), but the Dems don’t have to approve. Not sure what this accomplishes from the Dems’ perspective, but maybe one of the lawbros can weigh in.
