This “both sides are the same” bullshit was inevitable, which is why I wish they hadn’t chanted “lock him up”. “Impeach! Impeach!” would have been much better.

Absolutely true. Which is why the reality of Trump is so scary. Someone more intelligent and cunning but equally unhinged would be supremely dangerous. I doubt we will even recognize it coming while Trump was a dead giveaway.

Fair, but the clip shows him crumbling as he realizes what’s happening, and I can’t help but feel a moment’s satisfaction believing he felt a fraction of the suffering he’s inflicted on so many others.
Pretty sure if Trump just wanted to see a baseball game, he could have done so without his presence being announced on the PA system. He could have asked for no announcement. If fact, its likely that he wanted his presence announced. So it was. And that’s what he got. Deal with it!
I agree. Those complaining about Trump being booed are part of the systemic problem surrounding politics in this country.
The leaders of this country have managed to avoid being confronted with guilt and consequence by relying on cries of civility. The use civility as a shield protecting their bad deeds. This is a problem with the entirety of the establishment and is non partisan. Media pundits pushing the civility narrative are just carrying water and protecting the establishment.
Even though Trump is an outsider they complain about it equally as it protects all of them.
Politicians need to stop doing heinous things if they want to be treated civilly in public.

I’m old enough to recall “free speech zones” and how Dubya’s handlers were careful not to expose him to the nonbelieving public for fear of him getting his fees hurt but these idiots are acting like USA#1 has never protested a president before.

Not that it makes it a great take, but Nate wasn’t talking about booing Trump; he was responding to a kind of bizarre Jamie Lee Curtis Tweet about Baghdadi.
BTW, I kind of like all the hand-wringing over people booing Trump. It means it will stay in the news longer than it would have otherwise, forcing Trump to continue hearing about it, at some level.
