That period between the time Trump loses the election and January 20, 2021 is going to be insane and unprecedented too. And probably not in a good way. Haven’t all the Presidents in our lifetimes been classy and cordial during the transitions of power? I can’t imagine that happening this time. Some crazy shit is going to go down during that period for sure.

My only hope during the transition period is that Cabinet members may step up and play the 25th Amendment card on Trump the moment he gets out of line. What will they have to lose at that point?

This is about as close to an ‘f you, here’s your support Mr. President’ as can they can get.
EDIT: I may have misread that to mean they weren’t saying when a vote would happen (as an indefinite thing), but now it sounds like it could happen today.
The problem is the guy has gone all in with “I’m immune because I’m President.” He has no incentive to step down knowing he’s headed to jail.

In both cases NBZ is unfortunately correct for how it’s going to go. Thankfully Trump has no support among high level career civil servants. He probably lost a lot of rank and file military still with him in Syria last week.
