As worried as I am about Trump trying to rig the election, I’m comforted by his laziness and stupidity. He’s such a lard-assed simpleton that he can’t formulate, implement and execute any kind of strategy for anything, ever.

The US and Russia are starting to renegotiate the New START treaty about the size of their nuclear arsenals. The US wants China involved because they want to fuck with China, but for some reason think that demanding Russia make China get involved is the sensible course of action.
Unsurprisingly this hasn’t worked, so the US Ambassador snuck into the room for the negotiations and set out a bunch of Chinese flags, then took this picture to try to twitter shame them. Russia then asked why the fuck there were a bunch of Chinese flags about and he took them all down before the meeting even started.
If you click the replies to his idiot tweet then you can see a Chinese journalist pointing out that given the US has ~6,000 war heads and China ~300, then he thinks a treaty to keep both arsenals around 300 shouldn’t be an issue.

Right now, it would be up to the delegates. It starts to be too late to change state ballots early September, so the only hope would be faithless electors coalescing around the VP nominee.
The problem with Trump being such a POS in the employment context is once people don’t need him anymore they instantly turn on him. There is basically no chance this guy hasn’t committed tax fraud of some kind in the last 5 years and eventually someone is going to investigate him.
