The crazy thing I keep thinking about is that things are only going to get worse as we go towards the election. Covid is almost certain to rise as people go back to work, back to school, back to sports, etc. There is a 0% chance that anything meaningful is passed or executive ordered for the DIRTY ANTIFA THUGS at the federal level so unless the protesters give up that is still going to be raging for quite a while.
Covid should have been a slam dunk win for Trump. The George Floyd murder and subsequent protests are only a huge loss for Trump because he made it all about him and LAW AND ORDER rather than doing what any normal leader would have done and try and bridge the gap somehow. He is a horrible politician and person and the fact that he is as popular as he is just shows you exactly how racist this country really is. He is the literal walking and talking embodiment of the problem that BLM is fighting against.

He is the insane racist uncle of America. Every time he says transparently stupid/racist/insane things all the deplorables brain washed by Facebook posts just think “FINALLY SOMEONE IS SAYING WHAT WE’RE ALL THINKING!”
Trump has certainly created more racist dipshits, the more racist dipshittery that is in the public discourse the more of it will catch on. But a huge part of the base have been saying the same idiotic stuff for years on Facebook but you could just ignore them.
