So I was planning on posting this in here because I thought after the hate rally all of you would need something heartwarming to read. But then I went golfing with my daughter and came back to see that the hate rally had less people than my daughter’s last elementary school recital. But I’m going to post this here anyways because even on a day when Trump gets humiliated, it’s still nice to know there’s good in the world…
So, like most places, my town (Olympia, WA) cancelled our annual pride parade. But, 7 year old Harvey who lives in our old neighborhood wasn’t having any of it. Pride had to go on, so Harvey decided that he’d get a mini-pride parade going:

Lots of people on their porches cheered us on as we paraded through the neighborhood and made our way to the main street.
Everybody wore masks, in stark contrast to Trump’s racism rally.
