Learning to look for these in political ads or documentaries can be quite useful too, as there is often dishonest editing. But any competent editor would cover a jump cut with B-roll if possible, or change the camera angle, or zoom in or out enough to conceal the edit.

Anyway, the open wasn’t great, though it had its moments (I guess that’s an evergreen SNL review), but man Jim Carrey really becomes Biden here and there. Fun to see.
