She was at +5.6 and 82% on 538. Dropped to 2.9 and 64% but did a slight rebound to 3.6 and 71% by election.
I think this is why we all feel so paranoid despite being objectively way way way ahead. Trump already pulled a rabbit out of his hat once and weāve watched him seemingly get away with insane shit every day since.
I donāt actually think this is a bad thing. The absolute terror that he might pull it out is the biggest turnout driver of my lifetime.
If he gets landslided I guarantee you it will seem like it was inevitable in the history books. These are extremely likely to be the worst polls for any national political party in what I hope will be called the duopoly era.

I donāt know how closely you guys follow the Rupar / Dale thread but Trump has gotten noticeably crazier just in the last week or so. Almost everything he says is absolute insanity - Iām pretty numb to it all and the clips from his most recent rallies are alarming TO ME.

Yeah, I wouldnāt bet on it or anything. But I think Trumps main purpose is to energize the base and increase turnout among people who would vote Graham if they were arsed up to vote. Heās obviously not really going to be converting undecideds.
The scariest thing to me is his change from āOh, are they chanting ālock her upā, I didnāt noticeā to āYeah, fuck yeah, weāre gonna lock them ALL up!ā
Yeah, itās crazier to you, but itās just what the (some of) the base loves about him.
