If you ask any deplorable, it happened around the time Trump announced his candidacy. You literally cannot cite CNN as a source for anything to a deplorable. It will be instantly discredited.

Certifications bring this out in people to a lesser extent in other fields. You see it all the time. You know the people I’m talking about. It’s the ones with “M. B. A.” and “C. P. A.” and “MCSD” and “M. T. V. N. C. I. S.” in their e-mail signatures and after their names in every document they sign that comes across yours desk. Yeah dude, I get it, you took some online classes at Univ of Phoenix once your kids hit middle school. Whoopity doo.
But I agree nothing approaches anything as insufferable as “call me Doctor Dickbag.”

Sadly, brandishing is only a misdemeanor in VA unless you’re <1000ft from a school or church. Though, I’m not sure if throwing the gas canister at the protestors is legal, so these folks may have volunteered themselves for two crimes. Well done idiots!
