Journalists are extremely self congratulating on their Very Important Role in Society and the Sanctity of Journalism Principles. I would not be at all surprised if he thought conservative journalists would Rise Up and oppose Trump’s lies. Mythologies are pretty resilient even in the face of overwhelming contradictory evidence.

It’s not the fucking news. It’s people like Cruz, Hawley, et al who know damn well the election was fair and who won, and refuse to publicly state it. For that, and their actions during the electoral count, they are complicit and need to be expelled and/or prosecuted

We aren’t that smart and we all saw this coming a mile away. If he wasn’t a complete idiot it would have worked. If he had sent the MAGA army to vote counting locations in swing states he would currently be dictator for life.

They just refuse to accept that the GOP is evil. Even now they are congratulating Mitch for his self-preservation rehab tour. It’s pathological.

Yep. I think it was Cuse who was stressed about that, and honestly he was right they would have done it, they were just too stupid plus the ground troop Nazis were legit 100% convinced he would win. It’s clear Barr/Federal people wouldn’t have done it, but he absolutely could have had MAGA people not only attack polling stations in cities, but attack places where they stored mail in ballots. The place for Philly would have been so easy, there was like 1 guard and a weak ass fence.

Honestly the MAGA troops insane confidence in him winning also saved us. If they were shook by polling and thought he would lose they would have absolutely set out attacks on those places all by themselves, they aren’t as dumb as Trump and can actually plan

It’s why I can’t believe so many think Trump will walk away from this like he always does. Anything short of jail means there is no line that can’t be crossed in the future. One can literally try to overthrow the government of the United States and burn democracy to the ground and as long as they’re the president it’s okay
