I know lots of high ranking business types and they are almost without exception complete fucking sociopath psychos with very few principles. I think that poll, if accurate, reflects a “oh shit the leopard might eat my face” perspective, not any genuine ideological problem with Trump.

On CNN this morning they played footage (i was listening to it on the radio) of a police officer at the Capitol who described being struck several times by a thin blue line flag. Fucking unbelievable.

Yeah I think this was the cop they dragged out and down the steps. They arrested the guy the other day.
Bottom left corner at 23 seconds. There are other videos including an overhead video that shows this more clearly. But this video show the cop actually eventually got up and somehow apparently got out of that mob alive. It appears that at least a couple of people tried to help him.
It’s just going to accelerate the trend of Democrats being the party of big business.
I think me, beetlejuice, and grue are the only ones who watched it, but we all thought it was great.
