I turned it off after a minute but it is amazing what someone is capable of when they realize they are losing everything. He really is the abusive spouse who will go to every length to convince their partner who is fed up and leaving that he isn’t who every action he has ever taken shows him to be.

Pavel is kind of between a rock and a hard place. Russian government has tried pressuring him to ban many pro-democracy groups on Telegram, which he has resisted and withstood a blocking attempt. Of course, if US or EU told him to block someone and he complied, it would invite even more pressure from Putin.
By the way, it is downright depressing how people are equating Twitter/Youtube/Facebook/AWS ban of trmp/parler as equivalent to a ban by the government. Here in the US, but also pro-democracy and libertarian movements abroad just don’t grasp that FB makes decisions completely differently from Yandex/VK. smh
