Guy in my neighborhood with a huge flagpole that has blue lives matter (aka the new confederate flag) and trump flags on it hasn’t had anything on it in a while. But I suspect it’s because people keep stealing/vandalizing them and not because he’s had a come to jesus moment or anything.

This house has had trump flags for at least the past 18 months. They have a collection of them: trump/Pence (lol, they may have burnt that one already), an American flag with a tank and trump standing on top of it, and many others I can’t remember. They rotate the flags every few days and the events in the last month have not deterred them.
They also have a sign that says:

God
Guns
Country
Total nutters.

I think you misread my intended point. I do not think people who join the military instead of going to college are in any.way superior or even generally suited to high responsibility jobs. Some may be, but not the ones I knew.

Here’s what Pompeo actually said about Iran and Al Qaeda, quite a bit short of being involved in 9/11. Home base is nonsense, but I think it is generally accepted that some high-up Al Qaeda people are under “house arrest” in Iran.
I doubt this will change anything much but lots of damage is already built in, obviously.
