Football game where everyone tackles the guy with the ball which after realizing that name wasn’t cool was called smear the queer.
The events of the past few days (to the extent they have any real or lasting impact) are much more injurious to Trump than an indictment for incitement.
To quote a well-known philosopher: “I have done far worse than kill you, I have hurt you.”.

We may have used it more often than that I just don’t remember. The first African American in our school didn’t get there until 6th grade so it was pretty pale in my town. Many more Native Americans than any other minorities.
The Nazis got 2.6% in the 1928 election which translates to 12 out of 491 seats. They were a fringe party without any power.
Im also not convinced its not just the same bad news cycle dip weve seen before. If its still down in 3 weeks…
We called that game “Kill the man with the ball”. I realize in hindsight how sexist that is, to suggest that we should only kill men.

It’s jaw dropping how many people I encounter on here immediately go to is chastising, shaming, yelling, name calling, or just plain telling someone they’re wrong, instead of seeing an opportunity as a teachable moment. I truly hope most of you aren’t parents
My parents never chastised us (which is why I don’t take to it well here). When we did something wrong or inappropriate we had a conversation which made us think it through for ourselves. Anyway, not dissing marty’s parenting skills at all. I’m sure he did handle it well
Also played this in elementary school. Very likely none of us kids had any idea what a “queer” was.
