Rumors are flying that the suicide cops deceased father was a former associate of Stone and Manafort. And that some company called Event Strategies, associated to Manafort, was the event planner for the “rally”. I’m not trying to chase any of this down a rabbit hole because I don’t want to turn into pseudo Q type.

Less than a week out and substantially all Republican-affiliated people and media are already in full “but Democrats” mode. Transparently bad faith calls for “unity,” “lowering the temperature,” etc. while simultaneously, of course, calling Democrats evil and tacitly endorsing the mob.

Every indication is that the Democrats are still somehow not realistic about what they’re up against, too.

Like the idea, but the execution is a bit of a whiff.
“We had points at the beginning of the game”? Uh, no, you really didn’t.
National Review has apparently not walked back their initial take that Trump incited a riot but they’ve got a piece up now saying “your rioters are worse than our rioters.” NR is the only publication left that could possibly get through to my dad and all he’s going to remember is the both sides bullshit.

how is it everytime i’ve read about impeachment in the last 24 hours, its a day later. It was going to be monday, then no we are going to give pence a day so tuesday. Then I saw one that said by midweek, now an article that mentions Thursday WTF

How do they not already have a majority co-sponsoring this? They should at least lean on all Dem Reps to cosponsor.
House a couple of blocks over finally has taken down all their signs. Small American flag and thank you first responders is all that’s left. Was still there Thursday.
