I want Trump impeached and barred from federal office because I want his die-hard supporters to know that their only chance of seeing Trump in the White House again is by overthrowing the government. Take away all of their hope for any other solution. Then we’ll see who is capable of moving on and who is truly an enemy of America.
And hold as many votes as possible–impeachment, calls for use of the 25th Amendment–to make Republicans in Congress be on the record about supporting Trump or not.

I’ve got this dirty tricks idea for starting pro-Trump Twitter accounts now claiming to have been activated by the “shameful” treatment of the “patriots” who stormed the Capitol, then handing them off to people to be determined later to run as fake candidates for a MAGA third party designed to siphon off votes from Republican candidates.
What’s insane is that in 2020 we’re pointing out that it’s insane that a cop aided in a coup attempt incited by the President–as though the latter fact is just a footnote.

I’m finding myself empathizing a tiny bit with the true believers and even less with the enablers like Cruz, Hawley, Giuliani, Fox, Bannon, ONN, etc. (and I was already at zero with these people).
Trump is probably between the two categories (because he almost seems insane enough to be a true believer), but every remaining day he has on earth should be made miserable.
