Like they’ve been saying on Chapo recently, very tempting to go full black pill and root for Biden as nominee so we get Biden/Trump debates. Just two nursing home inmates ranting incoherently at each other while their brain runs out of their ears.

There’s definitely a solid 40% of people who believe whatever reactionary anti-environmental thing you can imagine without thinking about it at all. There’s a generally smart guy at an electrical supply store I go to sometimes who had no problem constructing some theory about how LED lights put out more light, but the light just doesn’t project as brightly as lights did before the treehuggers ruined everything. Priuses pollute more than F-150s, Windmills are killing all the birds, LEDs suck, solar panels never generate as much energy as it takes to make them, whatever…there’s just a big receptive and uncritical audience for any of this and Trump has a lot of company. But yeah, he is exceptionally dumb/addled.

He’s basically just been charged. Then the Senate gets to have a trial. He’s not getting removed from office by anything but the election realistically.
That being said he’s the third president to ever get impeached. It’s not something that happens much.
Did you guys read that transcript? I know you all tuned him out years ago but he’s barely speaking the English language at this point. The dude was dumb as rocks to begin with and is showing obvious signs of dementia and cognitive decline.

Yeah… I’m not going to be super shocked when I wake up to the breaking news that he stroked out. I’m kind of dreading it actually. I’d be really pissed if the GOP didn’t have to run him at the top of the ticket in 2020.
At this point I would take it though.
He’s not getting removed by the Senate. He’s not going to jail.
I would rather it just ends tonight.
