I can’t tell if you’re being satirical or sincere, but it works either way.

I think Trump deleted it because his handlers quickly saw how this actually would function as an endorsement. Trump thrives by being the only person in the room willing to be so awful, but that Bloomberg quote is red meat to resentful white men. Trump would cannibalize his own voters if he left that tweet up.

Narrator: Despite reposting the tweet, he did not cannibalize his own voters

and this is why I am firmly on team WAAF

If only the House had known about this and somehow gotten their hands on the evidence so Mittens could have voted to convict on both charges, that would have made all the difference.

I imagine devoting years of your life to the farce that are the Trump related investigations would take a toll on anybody.

There are two Zelinskys?

Or did the Ukrainian president also have a position in the DC District Court?

I figure with this administration anything is possible.

It’s worth remembering that Judge Jackson (female Obama appointee) has shown little inclination to indulge in Stone’s shenanigans. The changed recommendation was just a sentencing recommendation to the judge as to what’s appropriate under the sentencing guidelines. She has the final say, both as to what the guidelines recommend and whether to follow them. [Trump very likely has no clue about this and told Barr to change the recommendation, thinking it’s binding or something.] All this will likely royally piss her off. I put the over/under on Stone’s sentence at 5 years.

I’d bet on Stone’s pardon. Manafort is more like what Trumpkins think of as swampy. Stone must be beloved by Trump and Trumpkins.

Top minds discussing this recent development

I was really hoping he’d see like maybe a week in jail before getting a pardon. I’m basically in the bargaining phase of acceptance.

This is of course complete bullshit.

She failed to revoke his bail after multiple flagrant violations of her court orders, offering only the judicial equivalent of a strongly worded letter, to say nothing of the asshole getting bail in the first place.

Also the ballgame here is obviously to cite the DOJ recommendation on sentencing as cover for a pardon.

Every time team Lawbro has a thought, man. Washington Generals.

I’m sure this letter will turn things around.

If! Nuke everyone

Doj recommends light sentence

Judge gives normal sentence

Trump pardons/commutes sentence because the judge overstepped even the unbiased doj’s recommendations
