Did anyone catch the part where LEV nonchalantly recalled telling Dowd and Downing that “something bad was going to happen” if they didn’t leave immediately? It has to be one of the funniest scenes I can imagine happening: two corrupt lawyers in the service of total fucking idiots playing hardball then mashing the panic button when they get threatened by a guy who turns out to be FSB / Russian mafia.

Both Iran and North Korea have crippling sanctions on them. Both, for some unknown reason are full steam ahead on making nuclear weapons.
When said weapons exist, why would they not demand sanctions be lifted? Seems the obvious path for both and why preventing their progress was considered important.
IIRC, the initial investigation into Clinton didn’t turn up anything impeachable, so the original Special Counsel was removed and replaced with Starr, whose explicit job was to find something–anything. Starr has been a political hack from day one, and his acceptance into “mainstream media” is an indictment of MM, not an indication of any honesty or decency on his part.
Re: Sekulow, he probably hasn’t received a single check from Trump, but he doesn’t need to. He and his family have been running a grift for years. He has/had a nightly show on religious radio that was two hours of “We argue in front of the Supreme Court for your right to [discriminate against gays | pay zero taxes | own bazookas and grenade throwers] and we need your donations to continue the fight…” to the tune of tens of millions of dollars his non-profit paid him and his family for “legal services.” His yearly take has probably doubled since he clawed his way into Trump’s inner circle.

The next dem potus isn’t going to get anything done because all voters in here have apparently completely lost their marbles. (hint if anything it’s easier now to get your own climate thing done with those two countries than before) Dems already had pushed it as far as they could go from what I read.
Because they’ve seen what happens to world leaders who give up their WMDs under international pressure.
