Nope. I think if he lives long enough some politician will make his bones by sending him to a cell. The guys a career white collar criminal. The reason why this hasn’t happened before is because the specific set of circumstances was pretty unlikely. Normally they are smart enough to not draw this much publicity.

The problem is the toothpaste is out of the tube and too many grifters know that 25% will support them if they play the right notes. It is not a matter of if someone will exploit “Trump’s base”. They will for sure.

Pat Buchanan got over 20% of the vote in the Republican Primaries in 1992 and 1996. He really only had one opponent in 1992 (the sitting VP) and two in 1996. If he had run against 16 people like Trump did he may have won the nomination back then.
