The Pets of Unstuck

Looks beautiful! Does the dog get restless when you stand there for a half hour?

he means it’s a 30-meter stretch of his path where he walks directly into the sun. He’s saying it’s annoying

It is annoying. At least one of you is smart enough to not stare into the sun. :boom:

Sorry for your loss man, its the toughest thing we go through as cat parents.

She looks almost exactly like our little Dawkins, shes just missing a couple black splotches.

Here is a good shot in a similar pose.

I miss having a cat. Dad/Partner had one that loved to just crawl all over me. I think I miss that cat more than my Dad.

There aren’t any reported attacks from this group on anyone’s pets in the area. Everything I read is that coyotes don’t hunt in packs of more than 2, I wonder if a bunch are roughly 6-7 months old as I guess that’s when they would be fully grown and it’s just a young family. I walk my dog very close to this area every day, often at dawn and sometimes at dusk when coyotes are most active. I’m not scared of a coyote or two with a 75lb pointer, but a pack of 6 if they are aggressive I would definitely have a fear of.

This is someone’s backyard that backs onto the creek right in the middle of my daily walk.

I had not heard that they only hunt in pairs. I’ve seen a group of 5+ in the dark at like 5AM and it’s pretty chilling.

I saw a pack of 4 or 5 on my street last night around midnight when I was driving home from a card game. Maybe it’s a different breed way up north where you are, but these SoCal fuckers work in groups.

Also this reminds me, probably 8 weeks at sunrise I was walking one of my dogs and a coyote trotted passed us in the middle of the road with a cat in his mouth. That made me sad.

From everything I read a pack of coyotes is mature male and female parents and their young which are under a year.

Coyotes don’t stand a chance against 7 pounds of Philadelphia attitude.

I once saw a couple of coyotes joyfully tossing a cat carcass into the air like a toy right down the street from me.

That’s adorable

Never seen them, but I can sure hear the Coyotes. Dogs can too. (West NJ)

Our current pack is getting a bit long in the tooth, so brother picked up some fresh blood, black German Shepard. Tilly
