Has he not seen the green stuff in it?
Hey, no kink shaming. This was Apollo (RIP) any time lettuce was taken out for salad-making.
Dogs here know if they simply eye my food they get escorted out. I am the food master around here.
Now our dog lies down about 15 feet away if we’re eating something he likes. Eyes open and pretending not to look, it’s his form of begging. I’m okay with it, but the wife doesn’t like any form of begging.
We could literally leave the house for an hour with steak on the coffee table and he won’t touch it so I don’t see an issue.
She wouldn’t leave me alone when I was wfh so I kicked her out of my seat and this was the look I got.
Our new dog Graham is quite the power chewer. He understands what’s a toy and doesn’t chew stuff he’s not supposed to. But he went through a tennis ball in like 10 seconds, a Kong frisbee in a few minutes. Now he’s broken down a Kong extreme ball that is super hard rubber. It was our previous dogs toy and about the only one she never ruined. She had it 10 years and barely left a mark in it. He’s had it a few days and now it looks like this.
found a cute collarless young dog this morning lying on the grass, but it ran into the woods before I could get close. I think my dog may have scared it away.
Got a DNA test back today
9/16 Yorkie
1/4 Pomeranian
1/16 Boston Terrier
1/16 Golden Retriever
1/16 Great Pyrenee
huh kind of makes sense though
That’s some big dog mixed in there.
Wow.
Recommend working with a trainer on the reactivity thing. Leo goes nuts but we can now walk him. Been doing pretty good. When he sees a trigger now his first instinct is to look for us for his diversion treat.
We did have an episode last week when the other dog across the street was also reactive. Just held on to the leash until the other dog was dragged the other way.
More like some big dog trapped in there. Dude’s 1/16 Golden Retreiver soul is probably dying to chase tennis balls but it’s stuck with little scurry legs instead of real running legs.
One of our mutts, 22 breeds detected. All that sled dog with short legs. He has a messed up front leg but when we walk he just goes straight ahead and never seems to really tire/slow down.
Oh she loves to chase some toys. She is quite fast when she wants to be has quite the hops.
Here is one picture on a pure Yorkie Pomeranian mix
So yeah when tell me 1/8 of her DNA is actually from much bigger dogs than that it adds up.
She is great when it comes to meeting new humans. Learning when it comes to meeting new dogs. Sister’s Airedale terrier put her into her place without any big instance when we vacationed together this summer.
Plotting, waiting, waiting……
We lasted a whole 5 months with an empty nest. Welcome Yoko, an 11 year old girl whose human passed away so we took her in. And RIP to the 5 months I had being able to plan trips and vacations without have to worry about pet care lol. But it definitely feels more like home now again.
Her new cat tree came in today, and I’m not sure if she will ever come hang out on the couch again.
Thank you for bringing her in
Apologies for bringing down the vibes, but earlier this afternoon we had to euthanize our cat that we’ve had since 2006 (and had already had kittens when we got her, so she was probably around 20 years old).
RIP Ripley.
