Kidding aside, I have seen coyotes playing on multiple occasions and it is cute as hell when there isn’t a dead pet involved. The coyote pups are so cute.
Day off.
I absolutely love chilling in the back yard w the two dogs. Doing absolutely fucking nothing after the doggos get tired of chuckit.
My wife was recently away for 8 days. During the days when my kid was at school and it was just me and the dogs chilling (I work mostly from home) I was really quite content and thought “I could definitely live in a cabin the woods with two dogs”. Those instincts to isolate are not my best ones, but boy it is appealing.
I don’t see the problem here. Have you seen humans before?…
My mom always said, “a tired dog is a happy dog!”
Story checks out! They love a romp-a-round every day.
btw
German Shepherd/Great Dane mix (young 4 yo hyper goofball)
Lab/Collie mix (9 yo mellow old lady doggo).
We also have a Leopard Gecko for the last 4 yrs (my teenage son has been “mostly” good at looking after him). Plus 2 cats and 3 indoor fish tanks. And 2 small outdoor Koi ponds that we inherited when we bought the house. The kids wanted all these pets.
Guess who has to pay attention to making sure they’re all looked after?
It’s complicated, but when I’m completely isolated for too long I get pretty crispy. I need to have some human contact - more specifically, I need to be useful to somebody - at least sometimes. Like anything else I’m currently enjoying, my brain takes those six-hour periods of quiet and says “MORE”.
What kind of dog is that?
That is my child!
And also 4 year old half german shepherd, half “other shepherd”
Do you have internet in this scenario?
It’s only in-person human contact I’m seeking to avoid.
