Long time wacky mlb pitching coach Tom House used to have his pitchers throw footballs. He coached for the rangers for a long time and I saw no benefits from his methods.
Nolan used to throw footballs during warmup too. Thought the form required to toss a spiral was the same as the pitching motion.
Per the podcast I referenced earlier, mechanics taught changed about 15-20 years ago
footballs make some sense to me, get used to throwing a heavier ball so when you throw the lighter ball itās a stronger throw, though nowadays you can just use a weighted baseball as some do
i just want to say that watson blowing out his knee on like, the third play of the game would be amazing. year long suspension wouldnāt matter and (i assume) you couldnāt fine him game checks bc being injured would prevent that.
Why? Injured players donāt get paid?
thatās what i mean, bc heās injured he gets paid. so the nfl couldnāt take his game checks.
they prob would anyway, but him limping off the field after a 3 and out would be entertaining af
If youāre saying thatās the rule, then Iāll take your word for it.
I was unaware a player canāt be fined during injury. He gets paid, NFL takes it. Injured or not, nothing changes.
yeah i guess. just over here trying to stick it to the man
zack wilson non contact knee injury
oh man are we gonna see JOE FLACCO again
Lol amazing
fucking jets man, wow.
Lions are up 3
4th & 9 at DET 21
(1:30 - 4th) (Shotgun) D.Ridder pass deep right to J.Bernhardt for 21 yards, TOUCHDOWN. Y.Koo extra point is GOOD, Center-L.McCullough, Holder-B.Pinion. Penalty on ATL-L.McCullough, Offensive Holding, offsetting, enforced at DET 15 - No Play. Penalty on DET, Defensive Too Many Men on Field, offsetting. Y.Koo extra point is GOOD, Center-L.McCullough, Holder-B.Pinion
even in the preseason the lions find a way
the falcons broke their 17 game preseason losing streak
I have like 10 hater bets on the lions. Every QB RB WR under. Team wins under. First win week 4
Feels like free money.
Based on 5 snaps Iāve decided Travon Walker is the 2nd best defensive player in football behind the good Josh Allen. Dude was unstoppable.
Also MegaEliteSuperGreatestBustOfAllTime Trevor is bad at football. Wish we had 1 knee Wilson.
Iām kinda bullish on lions this year
ventures to twitter to try to see walker plays from the game to see the hype, itās the one play 100 times of how great he is
itās a play where the browns guy just briefly touched walker at let him go, a safety gets there then walker gets there and drills the back
gotta do better than this twitter
meanwhile the first twitter play of hutchinson I see, he makes whoever 70 is on the falcons wiff straight to the ground then tackles the back in the backfield lol
well walker we knew was a physical specimen they were betting on him figuring it out, if heās put the work in pass rusher isnāt as complicated as other positions find guy with ball kill him is 50% of it
It was hard not to think of Trevor Lawrence as an insane prospect as a freshman when he went 30 TD/4 INT 65.2% comp and smashed Alabama in the title game. But maybe his two years after that should have been a warning sign? Hell if I know.
