Not bad, but I gotta go with WE WANT SAPP WE WANT SAPP as the highlight of that video.
To me it’s the best moment of the video. Might be the best moment of NFL draft history.
I’m also on Team “We Want Sapp!” as the best part, but I also am sad that this hasn’t been updated to include Sanchez, Darnold, and now Zach Wilson.
Imagine having the optimism of the guy, in response to the Ken O’Brien pick, saying “Everybody said if Marino was gonna be around at that time, they’d take Marino. Obviously the Jets know something that the people up here don’t.”

The low key worst pick in that montage has to be Blair Thomas second overall. Two of the next three picks were Cortez Kennedy and Junior Seau, and ohbytheway, if you were dead set on a RB, this was also the Emmitt Smith draft.
Also funny because that was the only clip where they showed a Jets fan actually cheering the pick.

I still feel that way about Kiper.
But that did change him because he hasn’t had a strong negative opinion on a player or team in like 20 years.
It’s just not the same if it’s not a bad pick announced before a Jets fan-heavy crowd at Radio City Music Hall.
The two disgusted guys right after the pick is announced are fantastic.
Not as many disgusted crowd shots after Darnold and Wilson, though.

Lamar signing makes sense to me. He is a top 5 or 10 qb and has super bowl equity. The ravens going to war in the first place was what didn’t make sense to me. Especially now that they pretty much fully caved. Lamar took a lot of shit for being his own agent and in the end got a good deal and doesn’t lose tens of millions to the vultures.
