Locking Garrett in a cave in Afghanistan to ensure he plays?

Probably because I made a large bet on raiders. Iā€™m not sure why they are holding as favs. Its a really strange week with Covid stuff. Iā€™m sure the bookies know something we donā€™t but it didnā€™t stop me from taking raiders.

I never understand why people say stuff like this all the time

Game plan is to hand off to Chubb every play.

Probably because the books are really good at what they do?

I think itā€™s just they put in way more time and effort then I or 99% of people betting. Iā€™m just clicking buttons. Iā€™m sure there are some smart people that have computers running simulations or whatver and maybe they have or think they have a small edge. Thatā€™s not me. Every once in awhile we get gifts like the pats game in the wind a couple weeks ago but itā€™s rare.

really good at banning/limiting anyone who beats them and lets whoever doesnā€™t lose whatever they want?

Yes if you bet on every single game you probably wonā€™t beat the books cause youā€™re not paying enough attention but thereā€™s enough out there you can pick on them here and there. Just this week someone figured out they let you parlay a returner and the ST unit on the TD props and got them over it.

Really good at setting lines. You know, where the conversation started-- this isnā€™t a good-faith attempt to engage that topic.

I wonder if there is a possibility of biasing an antigen test nasal swab? Could one irrigate just prior to swabbing to try and flush virus out?

These are the players that came up with the fake penis to cheat urine tests, there has got to be an angle in here somewhere.

There are like 2 books that set lines, Circa and Pinny, almost all books just copy the market. Bookies generally arenā€™t smart at all, their lines get corrected by smart guys betting.

NFL probably told him to do it

Letā€™s say youā€™re up seven points at your own 30-yard line with five minutes to go. In Noahā€™s opinion, coaches should go for a fourth-and-8 there because A) if they succeed, they have a good chance of ending the game without giving the ball back B) if they fail and the opponent scores, they will score quickly and still allow time for a game-winning drive. Plus, it isnā€™t a guarantee that the opponent will score a touchdown in the red zone. Even the best teams only produce red zone touchdowns 70% of the time.

I have been saying this for a while. I think it may be the next analytics wrinkle that the pundits will go bananas over.

Bill Simmons is a god damn moron. Spent half his podcast with ā€œit didnt work therefore it was badā€ nonsense.

decent chance this isnā€™t true but itā€™s very dependent on the matchup with your team vs your opponent (ie, how offensive firepowered each one is)

heā€™s also making the mistake that you can have a game winning drive in like 30 seconds these days at the end when teams hurry up, so thatā€™s risking the opponent winning the game outright

gl keeping your job with that one

Video games are also typically offensive higher powered which makes a lot more sense to go for it for basically anything though heā€™s obviously right teams should go for it on fourth more often and stop wasting timeouts to save 5 yards when yards donā€™t matter.
