No reason draft can’t be done completely remotely. Only somewhat legit complaint I hear is that teams can’t do same level of evaluations without seeing players in person. But everyone has that same disadvantage more or less. I suppose one could argue that more uncertainty is worse for teams at the top of the draft, but there is not really a much better solution available.
