His biggest issue will be the glut of QBs that need to get in and retired recently or will be soon, who are all better than him

Peyton, Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Big Ben(?)

A few years after that you also likely get Russ, assuming he keeps playing at a high level for 3-4 more years

I mean I hate the Giants with a passion (Cowboys fan, lol me) and I think Eli 100% gets in. The two SBs plus top ten in TD/yardage is wayyyy more than enough even though it was compiler-y. You also have the oddball stat of his never ever ever ever getting hurt which I think helps a ton.

Definitely a weird career though, two SB runs and two SB MVPs, and 0 playoff wins outside those years.

first they tried to trade the 6th pick and next year’s first for Robert Gallery but the raiders for some reason, said no

then they heavily debated taking roeth, the miami ohio kid, from a hometown of browns fans. the coach had rivers 1/ben 2/eli 3 on his board. The GM had ben 1/rivers2/eli 3 on his board at the position.

rivers and eli were already picked. the QB was jeff garcia

so naturally the browns ended up with kellen winslow II
