The National Football League

Does this mean Montgomery is part of a package they’re shipping out for a QB?

he’s the best offensive player on the team signed for next season so fans are upset right now

not much else it could be other than with way too much for wentz

or he’s trolling, though trolling our own fans isn’t such a great thing, that’s what other fans are for

bears sign pettine as senior defensive assistant

I swear nobody in this organization actually has ever watched a football game since 1963

In a surprise to no one, the Urban Meyer era in Jacksonville is off to a fine start with the hiring of the racist Iowa strength coach.

I think the Texans have gone past farce and into tragedy, like when Homer is trying to read what Bart wrote on the back of his head and the family watches him laughing but then just gets sad the longer it goes on.

Watt now gone as well.

Why would they release Watt?

I’d think that on a 1 year/$17.5 million contract you could find someone willing to gamble on his health.

This has to be the biggest free-fall of a sports franchise in quite some time.

13 months ago today, they had a 24 point lead on the Chiefs in the playoffs.

I kind of expected that given his age / salary and what a general dumpster fire the team is on the field right now. Let alone what a mess the overall organization is.

I guess the Jags wouldn’t be the Jags if they weren’t fucking up rebuilding by hiring someone that ensures nobody will want to play for them

3 years ago the Jags blew it to go to the super bowl to the #1 pick.

Texans still have room to go lower.

Chase Daniel has been paid over $34 million to start 5 games over the course of 10 years. Still got two years left on his Lions contract each of which gets him about 9M combined.

Backup QB is probably the GOAT job.

In similar news:

How on earth do you go from winning a Superbowl to Blaine Gabbert? He is already on his 5th team. Was there ever a breakout star at the age of 33?

Rich Gannon?

(No, I do not think Gabbert is headed for a similar career path)

Tannehill’s breakout season was at 31. Trent Green made his first Pro Bowl at 33. Steve Beurlein had his breakout at 34.

That’s all I got now.

And yeah, Gabbert ain’t going there. Guy never had the tools to be a starter in the first place. I’m amazed he’s still in the league.

gabbert’s a FA, he’s not gonna go “man he really sucks”, for two reasons, one being if he does you want another team to get him.

I was going to say Kurt Warner, but he was only in his late-20’s when he broke out.

Urban is a straight up scumbag.

For those wondering what’s up
