Just gonna ask for what it is: Does anyone have an opinion on the El Salvador news? I can see that being really good, or really not good-crazy.
No, it means all the people who think Bitcoin or Ethereum are the only conceivable cryptocurrencies and everything else will be worth zero in the future, are saying buy. Everybody else is still short-term bearish not-buy, but also not-sell.

as much as you want, taxes only accrued when you sell or convert the crypto you bought to some other crypto / exchange for goods/services/etc (i am not an accountant so ymmv)
