This NFT craze is a lot like online poker in 2002 where you had mountains of Tuff Fish players shipping money left and right.
OK guys, hereās my idea for an NFT project. Design a deck with 52 cool card designs. Each NFT is a 5-card poker hand. Cards are arranged in a 3x2 grid with the 6th spot showing the back of the deck. There are 7,462 distinct hands. This is in terms of rank, so e.g., a royal flush is only counted once. If you want to have a full set of 10,000, you could add a secondary color to the back of the deck. Feel free to shoot me a few ETH when this takes off.

We almost did something kinda similar to this like ~8 months ago. But there was someone else who did similar that we found and then thereās a few other poker projects that had already taken off so we didnāt think it was worth pursuing further. We even had an A+ name for it, HODLāEm NFT. We were talking about doing 2-card hands though

Not worthless obv but as usual itās about execution. Like imjosh said, a lot of people have already had similar idea. I think thereās still room for a great execution of the concept, maybe a game of acquiring cards to hand build with ETH prize payouts for best hands or whatever. I canāt remember what the other projects did exactly.
Step 1: Sell every unique holdem hand as a NFT.
Step 2: Promise that there will be a random board drawn. Whichever NFT has the nuts after the board is drawn wins the entire pot
Step 3: Predetermine the board and sell the winning hand to your friend.

Sell individual cards with different traits. The rarer the trait set of the card, the more āpointsā itās worth when building a five-card poker hand. Set a target date where the highest scoring account(s) win X amount of ETH.
Or figure out some way to convert individual blocks into cards, so that each block is a āhandāā¦?
Then mint a one-off card with purple horseshoes for $6.9M.
