The Crypto Thread

Took me some explanation. She is calling the underwriter to ask. Should be funny to see what gets translated.

I can’t figure out what to do with this damn thing. If I leave it here and my place burns down I lose it all. If I put it in safety deposit box I can’t easily move crypto.

Oh I thought I needed seed and physical device. So I could just buy new device and be back up with seed words?

You are like 4 hours late for this joke.

i think @feedthabeast does, maybe he can chime in

Yes! It’s been a solid experience thus far. It’s HORRIBLE as a trading platform so just keep in mind it takes a long time to get money on and off of there. I thought I could send some USDC to fund my Dapper account and it was going to take 3 days

I also use Voyager for some stuff too but they have minimums required to earn interest but you trade and move coins more freely in my experience. And they have limit orders so you don’t gaped on the spread like on BlockFi.

If you want an invite code or more info for either DM me.

I’ve been exploring Bancor as well. They have a structure that eliminates impermanent loss. Completely decentralized and seamless transaction flow. Only issue I’ve encountered is the insane ETH gas fees.

I got a Yahoo Finance alert saying some guy said there’s a good chance BTC is made illegal

Lol. And it doesn’t matter if that’s bullshit, as long as somebody thinks it isn’t, and somebody else thinks that somebody thinks it isn’t.

If you’re referring to Ray Dalio, he’s just fucking with folks and doing his petty ass ā€œplease stop doing the shit that got me where I’m at shtickā€ the success of bitcoin has very little to do with regulatory theoretical horseshit assumptions.

Sneaky tip: when trying to evaluate hype online don’t forget to check out the post/view ratio on the discussion you’re reading. Healthy threads will often have lots of views with a diverse range of opinions. Degen hypebeast threads will have lots of manic posting from a narrow range of bagholders, but very little public input from the masses/casuals.

This is why the crypto threads on 2+2 had lots of different input in conversations that were viewed by millions, and why the topshot thread has the worst post/view ratio on this site, with the same ~10 people posting hundreds of times.
