Pony and all, but worth pointing out that everyone who knew anything about how these recounts actually work predicted that this would increase biden’s margin. Like, if you do a recount in a ruby red county, you’ll probably slightly increase Trump’s. You do one in a dark blue county, you’re gonna increase biden. It’s just the nature of the recounts and why this whole thing was such a stupid waste of three million dollars.
Edit: It shows how extremely stupid Trump’s people are because it’s the opposite lesson from 2000. Basically in 2000 Bush’s people complained because they were doing essentiallly an “enhanced” recount only in dark blue counties, because GWB’s people weren’t stupid and understood that would help Gore. GWB sued Gore to stop him from doing that. Trump’s people were like: fuck it, lets do the exact thing that republicans sued to stop from happening in 2000 because reasons.
