Many state GOPs wanted this to happen. Many states wanted authority to start counting mail-ins as they arrived, and were told no, do it on election day. I think in Michigan they got approval to open envelopes on Monday (lol). The election day red mirage with Trump claiming victory on Tuesday night and proud boys storming election centers as Biden heavy mail-in votes were counted throughout the week was a known outcome, and one the republicans specifically choose. It’s fucking bullshit, but it’s the America we live in.

Let’s stop worrying about faithless electors until this thing ends up being actually close the EC. I have to assume most of the electors are basically local Dem VIP’s.

The GOP as a organization is in the process of turning it’s back on Trump every single way it can. I wouldn’t worry too much about the really crazy scenarios. Plus we probably don’t even need PA.

I don’t think they literally pick them. They develop the laws in each state which say how they are picked. Which for the most part in all states means that the winning party picks them. But if I’m wrong, blame schoolhouse rock or wherever the hell it was that I think I learned this.
yeah but only a 1/3 of USA is voting / showing interest in this, the biggest of the big - so maybe 2% of ‘the world’ at best. The other 98% are wondering why USA#1 can’t count 120m in votes in 48hrs - must have taken ages for Forbes to tot up Bill Gates wealth
