The 2020 Election: Delaying the Inevitable

I’m officially done with “demographic changes” after Florida and Texas last night.

I mean we went from -9 iirc to -6 in TX with a candidate who all but openly admitted he wasn’t going after Hispanic voters. We may be 8 or 12 or 16 years away, but we’re making inroads there long-term.

Seems like the Dems need way more Latino outreach programs. Who could have possibly guessed?

Demographic changes towards Hispanics don’t help if those Hispanics are becoming “white” / shifting towards Republicans. And they certainly don’t help if Dems just continue to ignore them.

I’m so completely confused by the LatinX turnout for trump. It’s like a huge contingent of black voters coming out for David Duke.

I was pretty sure, but I’ll admit I looked her up before I posted that just to be certain.

People need to go to fucking jail.

Why? If you’re a 2nd+ generation latino who hates the snowflakes and thinks liberal tears are delicious then you’re white for all intents and purposes. You probably don’t want those damn immigrants stealing your job either.

Yeah but by that time half of us will look like boomer man gif

Given wearing a mask is literally the single biggest factor to containing the virus, that is a MASSIVE difference.

Every election for the past 20 people are astonished anew to find that guys like George Zimmerman exist and vote Republican.

I know it’s just math, but I’m always taken about and how such seemingly small raw vote leads lead to not-so-tiny margins. Biden now up 30K in MI after another Wayne Co. update, but he’s up 0.6% which feels much more sizable.

Well that explains the Florida loss

If 27% really weren’t delivered then that is the difference

And more than Joe Biden awkwardly dancing to Despacito.

Also people tend to forget but a lot of times after 99% is in it keeps moving over the coming days/weeks from absentee and such. I still think we have a pretty good shot to win by > 1% in WI and MI.
