Gives me hope, Jimmy got the nerves again, when he should only be playing his own game & wiping the floor with Hendry tonight.
Yeah, it’s clear White is better, some of Hendry’s missed pots have been dreadful. I think he’s holding his own in the safety, though, and if White can’t break build then he’s got a chance.
Currently 41-19 and back to safety.

After mid session we’re back to really scrappy stuff. It’s 31-3 to Hendry in frame 5 after 20 minutes or so.
Beginning to wonder if I can stay up to the end of this.

Stayed scrappy but Hendry toughed it out, 60-odd to 30-odd. 4-1.

When I was playing Jimmy White in those finals, I could tell when he was under pressure.

Wow, a proper frame. White made a long red then a 62 break, but he missed a red (the colour of which would have sealed it), then Hendry stepped up and made a 66 clearance to take it. 5-1.

Almost proper snooker. Jimmy made a decent break, then defended it a bit laboriously but ultimately wrapped it all up with the colours to spare. 5-2.

Hendry’s on again, Xu Si is standing in the way of the Crucible itself. He’s already one frame up and has a 49-0 lead in the second!
This guy is supposed to be all right too…
