Yeah I want to know that. One of my good friends got accepted to Duke and we made fun of him the better part of our senior year. “Duke is Puke” was very common, if not funny.

I didn’t mean just in college. He had huge lazy stretches in the NBA. But he was one of the most dominant physical players ever and he had a teammate who was an NBA All star, and LSU really never did anything.
I was just putting it in the context why Laetner was chosen over Shaq as the college player.
If Shaq has a different motor and priorities he could have easily thrown up a career to contend as the very best ever. Even without that he still is top tier.

The playoffs in '16 where Steph got hurt by Motiejunas and it was just Klay and Dray (and the rest of the cast ldo) for the bulk of two rounds … they rolled.
Instead Shaq decided it would be a good idea to dine on 10 Big Macs a day.

I can feel a little bad for them because it’s incomprehensible to be that famous. You can’t live a normal life at all. On the other hand, they’re billionaires who lived lives we could only dream of.
