Is Trump about to pardon NYT? They are probably more careful in choosing their associations and sponsors. It wouldnāt be surprising if Trumpās DOJ was looking for reasons to prosecute but didnāt find any.

Under Trump, I assume they would if they could. But thatās getting away from what keed said was the relevant question.
I donāt understand the Murdoch/Fox derail. Murdoch was born in Australia but is an American citizen now so nothing foreign about him. He actually naturalized because as a foreigner he couldnāt own Fox news. I wish Australia and UK had the same laws so they could get rid if him.

I am Dutch but been living in Australia for most of the last 20 years. Did go back to Holland at some point but the weather there just makes me depressed so I left for Australia again. All my family is still in Holland so I do keep track of what is happening there.
The username comes from 2p2 where it worked a lot better in combination with the location.

So the only order in that judgeās decision is that Assange be released. Why does the article say that Assangeās defense is trying to arrange bail? Was that order stayed pending appeal?
The USās lawyers immediately said theyād appeal and asked he be held in custody for it, thatās what the bail hearing on Wednesday is about. Heāll be held until then at least.
Same thing is true of a pardon, actually.
I wasnāt surprised, though a few people were saying they thought he would get bail this time round. I read the other day the appeal could be in April, though thereās nothing in this story.
I also donāt know that I believe the Biden bit of this. Though if they think itās a foregone conclusion, maybe?

I am mixed because Assange is a huge prick and bad human.
And a Russian asset who coordinated with Putin to help Trump win the election, so also that.
