SARS-CoV-2: Electric Superflu

I’d really appreciate it if God would come down and give New Orleans a fuckin’ break.

Fareed Zakaria making some good points today:

The United States is on track to have the worst outbreak of Coronavirus among wealthy countries, largely because of the ineffectiveness of its government.

This is the new face of American Exceptionalism.

I wouldn’t click on this but it is just a picture of the inside of one of the morgue trucks taken by a nurse.

These images are painful but they need to be plastered all over then news instead of Trump’s quasi rallies. People need to see body bags.

Paging the narrator / Preet:

Regarding the fact that the % increase of new cases is going down.

Yes. This is a good thing, because it is showing that we are doing something different, but we are still exponentially increasing. Just at a slower rate.

The analogy is we are racing towards a brick wall at 100 mph, we still have our foot on the accelerator, just not quite as far down.

Not all the drivers. Some places still have that accelerator all the way down, pedal to the metal.

The video is pretty intense. 20-30 seconds is enough.

Listening to some dipshit right winger on the radio.

“Well lets assume not everyone will get it. Population of USA is 330 million. It has a 2% death rate, so lets say this causes .5% of the USA population to die. Is it really worth shutting down the economy for 165 thousand people, mostly old?”

  1. Yes
  2. .5% is 1.65 million you dipshit.

Say it louder for the people in the back (of this thread)

Well looks like we are all saved and Easter may be back on!

And you know these right wing ■■■■■ are practicing social distancing, washing their hands and shit like that while they tell everybody else that it’s just the flu and that they don’t see to worry.

Well, not Rand Paul.
