This is from a doctor acquaintance that I respect a lot. The first part I know, but asymptomatic spread occurring by touch not respiratory droplet I did not. Maybe everyone should wear gloves or something.

I’m actually kind of happy about this. It’s no worse risk than the grocery stores or airports (way way less than airports actually) and I don’t want to give Trump any precedent to postpone the election. As someone who thinks we’re drawling live to no more democracy, voting is everything right now.

Not to get all deep state conspiracy shit but can the Trump Administration cut the internet if they want? Put yourself in Trump’s shoes. Isn’t that something you would consider in order to stop the news that’s making you look like the moron that you are? He could cut the internet and send out mass texts saying he alone is the only one you can trust and half the US would comply w/ nary a thought.
My university has their first confirmed case. But don’t worry it’s just a staff member who works off campus. Like me! No one’s reached out to me yet so that might be a good sign. We have at least two mostly full 10-story office buildings and probably some more buildings.
