Florida has added 900 cases in less than 2 days. It’s pretty much summer here in central Florida. Orlando and The Villages supposed to be mid 90’s this weekend. Sumter County had 10 cases 2 days ago. Now has 24. That’s county where The Villages are.

So instead of walking my dog in an area that is spread out so I don’t run into anyone I’m supposed to do it next to everyone else? Closing parks is stupid
Those RZ masks look sketchy. They don’t claim to be N95 and activated carbon is usually used to filter water, not air.
Only the most popular parks are closed. Less popular parks (most of them) and sidewalks are fine.
I’m not saying it’s true, but they do say they filter 99.9% of particulates to a size of .1 um, which would be better than N95 I think.
For me, it’s better than nothing, looks better than a shirt draped over my face, and doesn’t take a mask away from a hospital.

here in Toronto they closed all city parks and off leash dog parks as well. My dog needs off leash walking, he’s a Pointer. Walking him only on leash is cruel, luckily there’s a beach I can do that on, but so will everyone else I suppose. What about the dogs with bad recall that need to be in a fenced in dog park? (my dog just jumps any fence he wants to anyway though) He gets 2+hours of off leash a day normally.

Hospitals are debating a universal “Do not Resuscitate” order for infected patients. If you code, your heart stops, they will just let the infected patient die or come back on their own. No effort to revive the patient.
The reason is when you try to revive patients, lots of fluid exposure from the patient occurs. That will only make the equipment shortage worse.
That would be by far best.
