You just need to wear something that covers your mouth and nose. Sure a proper mask is best but I don’t have one and they’ve banned the sale of them here to make sure that health care workers have enough. Many have opted to make their own if they don’t have them. Or they do what I did and rip off some cloth.

There’s no question that any kind of baffle almost certainly helps you and reduces the viral load when someone coughs near you and you’re getting the money shot of coronavirus all up in your face. Or when you’re spewing out your nasty-ass germs to the world around you.

What’s bad is things will be better by Easter, but not enough to permanently reopen everything. Hardly noone will get that though and they will freak when we have subsequent shelter in place orders.

I think things will be worse in the red states that are actively suppressing testing right now. Literally all they have to do is not be craven assholes now, and they would probably get what they want in a few weeks. But nope, just like Trump, too stupid to even pull that off.
I think no matter how relatively calm one’s personal environment is right now there is still a massive amount of uncertainty out there that can reach out and impact any of us at any time.
States are going to open up on their own timetables anyway. Easter doesn’t mean shit. Trump’s not the one who shut anything down, he can’t order them reopened.
