Except it’s growing at a faster rate in the US than in Italy by most charts despite testing in the US not being as available. US is just a number of days behind Italy
US has some obvious stuff working against it as well which might cause it to end up worse than Italy. Initial response was quicker but if they resist to take the additional quarantine steps when needed then it will end badly.
That initial response was only especially quick in a few states: WA, CA, and KY. Everywhere else took too long or is taking too long.
Trump just said that the United States tests far more than anyone else and that our tests are the best and most accurate. Phew!
Kudos to you for being able to watch it, I had to shut it off he just infuriates me.
Because sometimes I like to tickle your amygdalas.

Who is this idiot reporter asking about the Kennedy Center?
I already do. Not saying I do a great job but $20 haircuts weren’t exactly making look good either.

Fauci has no patience for these idiots (other than the idiot in chief)
You hate to see it.
Here is where Alberta ranks. Goes to show even a super right wing government can respond appropriately.
Not sure we can attach much weight to these stats when some are ~12 days old
UK for example issues test numbers 2 x daily yet statistic used is almost a week old which is lightyears in terms of CV ;)
What do you suppose the odds are of UAE only counting citizens in its per capita testing rate?
Here’s hoping he doesn’t become Giuliani in 20 years.
Alberta is pretty much America.
Ontario’s generally buffoonish government has also been pretty strong on this. I think Canada’s floor in human decency is just higher than the US, imperfect though we may be.
