SARS-CoV-2: Electric Superflu

I’m not going to starve or anything, but got no money, can’t work, won’t get unemployment.

With all this people not having to pay stuff talk going around has anyone mentioned health insurance companies having to waive premiums?

If anyone is looking for positive news, the assholes who built doomsday shelters are counting on private security to protect them and hilariously think those people won’t just kill them and take their money if civilizations ends.

Are like cable/dsl workers essential? Or if something goes wrong there are all the work from home people out of work too?

D) Is finally getting their act together on testing.

They aren’t good. South Korea is good. New York is merely best one-legged ass kicker. But look at the deaths. The deaths are still well under WA despite so many more positives. It means that WA’s cases are likely more than triple NY’s.

What are the best sites for numbers info? I’m using worldometer for infection #, COVIDtracking for people tested.

Also does anyone have a good site for day to day cases on a state level? Illinois.

My wife just went to the hospital to get tested and maybe treatment. Besides cough and fever she’s having issues breathing and her Fitbit says she’s spending 14-15 hours/day in fat burning cardio due to her heart rate being so elevated constantly. Pulse ox when she checks it is 94 so not super low yet.

She got there and had to park way far away because they are “airing out the parking lot.” She went in and they put her into major care isolation unit right away, so taking it seriously before even testing. Of course, who knows if they will actually test her for it. We’ll see.

It IS all over there. We just cant test everyone and mild cases arent going to be checked out

The slowest moving freight train is now hitting us and we can’t move.

Good luck, hugs.

Pretty sure this is out of date with the shelter in place order statewide, right?

Bodies are going to start piling up within the week. Mass unemployment and economic desperation. 300 million guns in this country. A totally incompetent government. Yikes.

Not necessarily, because the nursing home getting ravaged in WA probably skews their death numbers.

I’m basing my info mainly on this thread and the guardian. So I’m not fully on the pulse as to australia

The PA list posted somewhere earlier says yes. I checked because my internet has been down today. I wouldn’t be surprised if it has something to do with way more people in the neighborhood teleworking and/or watching Netflix. If so it’s an absolutely essential service that’s going to require a lot of maintenance to keep up.

Damn. Hope everything is okay. We are rooting for you both.
