I’m with you. My sister lives there and works at the new UNLV med school. She’s not at the hospital facilities, but she comes in contact with the students and faculty every day (she’s a medical librarian). They just started WFH this past week.
Fortunately, she’s also working on her masters in Public Health, so she knows exactly how to stay safe…but on the flip side, she knows exactly how worried we should be.

I’m definitely curious to see how this goes in the trades in various states. The list for PA has all construction halted, but they can’t close supply houses. Buildings need to be maintained. And if I can buy the stuff I need for necessary repairs and maintenance, it’s often the same stuff I’d need for non-essential upgrades.
Pretty sure every healthcare worker is going to get sick. I had an arts and crafts face shield over a surgical mask I was told I needed to make last 4 hours. Plus my hospital is running out of bleach wipes.

I’m in the middle of a few jobs. One is just my sale and I guess it’s up to me, but another is a major remodel and I texted the GC and they are halting all construction on all their projects.

I guess one good piece of news today - While I was out walking I ran into a neighbor that is way high up in the Washington Red Cross and is on the CDC and WHO calls 4 times a day. Didn’t have much good to say other than our county is doing pretty well (5 confirmed cases), he loaded me up with sanitizer, and he said he’s getting swab tested daily and it’s not too bad.
